You can use either the Cloudpak MISTLoader™ or the Cloudpak uploader command line application to quickly convert and upload your images to Cloudpak. Both applications handle any size images and nearly 100 image formats.
Cloudpak MISTLoader™
MISTLoader is a simple GUI application that converts, compresses, and transfers image data into Cloudpak MIST. MISTLoader requires Java to run and was built using the LOCI Bio-Formats libraries. MISTLoaderUsing MISTLoader is very simple. Just turn to the general tab option on the MISTLoader form and select "General". In this part of the form you will choose the image to convert and transfer to Cloudpak MIST and the the desired compression ratio. The MISTLoader open dialog will filter your options to any of the nearly 100 formats that MISTLoader supports.
Cloudpak compression may be set anywhere from lossless (1.0 compression) to over 100X compression. We recommend using a 10X compression as an excellent compromise between quality and size. In Cloudpak, 10X compression is invisible to the naked eye and can be safely used without fear of color or edge artifacts of any kind.
Once you have identified the image to upload and set your communication configuration, click on the upload button to begin the process.

In addition to identifying the image to transfer, you must also identify yourself. This is done from the communications tab on the MISTLoader form. Simply enter your Cloudpak id and password. MISTLoader will save both settings when you exit.
